We get our energy from sun - Citycenter is giving a light signal for environment
Citycenter is joining Earth Hour on 26th March from 8:30 to 9:30pm
In Citycenter actions are decisive and we want to be pioneers of environmental, climate and social responsibility.
As a shopping centre, we want to provide facilities and a place where companies and our visitors can have a possibility to make more sustainable and responsible choices.
Our electricity comes from our own solar power plant and from Lakiakangas wind farm in Isojoki. More than half of the waste produced by Forum is already recycled and reused - and the recycling rate has risen every year. The remaining part is utilized entirely in energy production. This year we will be again participating Earth Hour by turning off the facade lighting for an hour and also some of the neon signs as a light sign for the environment. In addition, we invite you to take action by bringing Earth Hour to our media surfaces.
